World Water Challenge is an international contest and award for individuals or organizations towards solving the global water problems. As a follow up event of the 1st World Water Challenge under the Science and Technology Process of the 7th World Water Forum in 2015, it is aiming to discover imminent water problems that world is facing and to find feasible solutions to those.
World Water Challenge 2017 will be held as one of the signature programs of KIWW 2017 which will take place in September in Gyeongju city, Republic of Korea. This 3rd edition of World Water Challenge is expected to serve its role as an important platform to share the ideas and information on water issues arising from all around the world and to forge a broad network between a diverse pool of problem owners suffering from water problems and solution providers.
Any individual who is interested in water and water-related
organization are both welcomed to participate in the program
Problem owners and solution providers are kindly requested to submit their proposals through the online submission system via the KIWW official website (www.kiww.org)
using the provided application form. Please make sure that all submissions must be filled out in English. Other languages are not acceptable.
Award and Benefit
The Award Ceremony will be held on September 2nd at the closing ceremony of KIWW 2017 and the winners will be presented with a cash prize and trophy respectively.
