World Water Challenge is an international contest and award for individuals or organizations towards solving the global water problems. As a follow up event of the 1^st World Water Challenge under the Science and Technology Process of the 7^th World Water Forum in 2015, it is aiming to discover imminent water problems that world is facing and to find feasible solutions to those.

World Water Challenge 2017 will be held as one of the signature programs of KIWW 2017 which will take place in September in Gyeongju city, Republic of Korea. This 3^rd edition of World Water Challenge is expected to serve its role as an important platform to share the ideas and information on water issues arising from all around the world and to forge a broad network between a diverse pool of problem owners suffering from water problems and solution providers.
